How often do you replace with a new one or can you work with laundered ones. Are the chemicals easily washable?

Appreciate the sound advice. I started polishing a trailer at the fire department with what I now know is single stage paint. There was a lot of red paint on the polishing paid which had me a bit freaked out. Glad to know it is expected. The results so far are night and day. Years of oxidation and other dirt buildup. I can now see my reflection and can't wait to get it all done. Thanks again.

I used the Yellow MF with Sonax Perfect Finish on white paint. It looks great but obviously tough to see any haze it may or may not have left. Would you do a finishing step with White MF or foam with say Uno Pure before ceramic coating?

I have knee and leg issues and my wife asked me why I wax and polish my car so much if it hurts to walk. I showed her your part where you say men like to wax their car because they enjoy waxing and there’s a certain therapeutic aspect to it. That’s exactly what I’ve been telling her, verbatim. I’ll be getting a 2024 Porsche Macan GTS in the next few months and plan on applying ISM on the front end black plastic/satin surface as well as the black plastic diffuser. What would you recommend as a sacrificial layer of protection on plastic to protect against possible water spots? Polish Angel Black Bond? Or would Cosmic Spritz be okay to use? I know Cosmic Spritz does not stain plastic. Thanks.

I really like this product, it's like a Presto Detail ++ with a more deep wet look. With a regular common sealant you can get high gloss but it's a flat gloss, shiny but cold where with CARNAUBA ARTS it's alive gloss with depth. What I am not a fan of is that this one can't stand any chemicals like APC in 1:10 dilution which is not that high. I wonder what PA product has a better chemicals resistance?

I use quick detailer on my motorcycle because I don't like hosing it down on the regular. Water gets places where it should't be and I end up with corrosion in hard to reach places. I polish the tank and the fenders with some compound every couple years and it very easily removes the light scratches. Overall I think this method keeps the bike looking fresher than if I washed it all the time.

What microfiber is recommended when I go to do a second vehicle? Is 300 gsm too much? Or maybe a pre-washed microfiber towel from a roll considering they’re quite thin? I’m sure using the same towel isn’t ideal by any means
